Maimana Kilim Flatweave Rust 4x5

The Maimana Kilim collection hails from the historic Maimana region of north‑western Afghanistan, where nomadic tribes have woven flatweave textiles for centuries using hand‑spun wool and natural dyes. Each rug is crafted on a traditional loom, employing the kilim technique of tightly interlocking wefts that creates a durable, reversible surface adorned with bold geometric motifs that convey tribal stories of protection, fertility and journey. Collectors prize these pieces for their authentic cultural narrative, vivid rust palette, and the rarity of true Afghan tribal craftsmanship.
